Talking of Ryu, I played "Asterix & Obelix XXL2: Mission Lasvegum" recently - and you meet various Romans in funny costumes, including Sonic, Rayman, Mario and Ryu! [link]
(Sonic-Romans spindash to move at speed and attack you with ring-blades, Rayman-Romans can throw their fists, Mario-Romans knock you back with FLUDD water-cannons and Ryu-Romans hurl energy balls... Ryu's even KO in slow-motion when you beat them, with a drawn-out "Aaah")
